World of beautiful gypsies

World of beautiful gypsies

I have traveled to 15 countries in Europe.

I met immigrants, refugees and gypsies in the places I visited.

After all, we were all at the bottom of society.

In my observations of the gypsies, I have some convictions that they are very honest and devoted to each other.

Their situation changes according to the economic and social conditions of the country they are in.

Of course, it cannot be expected that the gypsies living in the Middle East and the gypsies living in Europe are the same.

These people, who carry their weakness for music and entertainment in their genes, show differences according to the cultures of the countries they live in. For example, those who stay in Latin countries dance like carmen flamenco. The ones in Germany, Russia and America are different.

There is one more thing that stands out. As these people move away from their homeland, they show different physical characteristics, their colors become brighter, their eyes become more colorful, and they begin to resemble the people of the countries they live in.

Gypsies form an integral part of the human family.

Gypsies are truly the children of nomadic artisan ancestors.

Some groups of people since the earliest times in history; They lived on agriculture or animal husbandry.

Gypsies, on the other hand, continued their lives as nomadic artisans for various reasons.

Gypsies produce baskets, sieves, hardware, tins, etc. they buy goods and services and sell them to other communities that make a living from agriculture and animal husbandry.

Since they did not have herds and large lands like other societies, they could not find other means of livelihood other than nomadic craftsmanship.

In fact, this is the only difference between Gypsies and non-Gypsies.

Thousands of years ago, humanity lived in similar conditions all over the world.

The only occupation of all humanity was gathering and hunting.

They survive by hunting wild animals or collecting various plants.

During this period, women were at least as powerful in society as men.

Because the foraging activity was in the hands of women.

Being in the economic life made them strong.

However, over time, mankind has learned to domesticate animals and to feed animals in herds. Tribes who learned to shepherd in different parts of the world quickly began to concentrate on this new profession.

In the shepherd tribes that make their living by feeding the herds; Men began to come to the fore, women were put in the background.

This is because the female-dominated community fell out of favor with the shepherd.

In this period, the tribes that made their living by shepherding; They needed large pastures to feed their herds.

They took up arms and became warriors to defend their pastures and protect their flocks from attacks by other herding tribes.

While all this was going on, some tribes continued their professions of gathering and hunting.

However, as shepherd tribes started to protect their pastures by fighting, neither hunting nor gathering could be done as easily as before.

Under pressure from the shepherd tribes around them, these people were desperately forced to develop another profession.

Nomadic Craftsmanship.

Various craft products developed during the period of gathering and hunting; These tribes were struggling to survive because they were given to the tribes that made their living by shepherding in exchange for the exchange of other products.

When I once ran a Cafe in Metz, France, most of my clients were gypsies. They invited me to Cheribashi's birthday party. I went. It was a big hall. in total more than 200 gypsies participated

I was the only person who wasn't a gypsy.

Çeribaşı said, "For the first time in my life, you are the one who attended my birthday from outside.

Everyone attended the party with their spouses, daughters, boys and children.

There was so much drinking and dancing that I couldn't believe it, I watched with my mouth open.

Three generations were together, the eldest who got the most applause and danced the wildest.

What if we attended a family party like this and got this drunk..!

Towards five o'clock in the morning everyone dispersed without the slightest unpleasant incident.

Then I thought to myself, "Wow..?" I thought. I think. According to me. I said.

And we have a lot to learn from them. Bulent Dundar
